All aboard the Via Rail "Skeena"
for a possible two-day train journey towards Mt. Robson,
the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies and onwards
to Prince Rupert, along the coastline of British Columbia.
What a wonderful way to discover the region's scenery,
Native culture and other attractions.
Classes and services available
Three classes are available:
- Economy class, available year-round, lets you discover
the region at the best possible price.
- Totem class, available only in the peak season
(normally from May 14 to October 17), includes meals
and exclusive access to the superb Park car and its
panoramic dome.
- Totem Deluxe class, also available only in the
peak season, includes meals and, as an exclusive benefit,
a seat throughout the journey in our new Panorama
car, which is fully glass enclosed.
Schedules, fares and reservations
When you choose Economy class, you can make a round
trip between Jasper and Prince Rupert for only $202
(purchase seven days in advance, taxes extra, some conditions
apply).
The Skeena leaves Jasper and Prince Rupert three times
per week (on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays). The train
stops overnight in Prince George. So don't forget to
book a hotel room!
